Bailey Employment Services Ltd are recruiting for a Production Operative on a permanent basis for their well-established client based in Thornganby. Our client is an established international company that supplies global food brands but remain a family business with family value. They pride themselves on producing the freshest frozen vegetable ingredients and work alongside over 60 farms across the UK to supply conventional and organic ingredients. They offer a variety of products, including peas, petits, beans, root vegetables, peeled and fresh, along with imported & specialist frozen vegetable ingredients.

The role will involve:

• Working within a cold store, with temperatures as cold as -22degrees.
• Using an FLT to relocate stock around the cold store
• Using a handheld bar scanner to scan in pallets to correct location.
• Picking orders
• Ensure you comply with both Health and Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.
• Full training is provided.

Pay:

• Starting pay rate of £12.04 per hour
• Pay rate will increase to £13.02 per hour with further training
• Once fully trained the pay rate will increase to £14.05 per hour
• 25p per hour shift allowance for days and afters
• £1 per hour shift allowance for nights
• Paid breaks

Hours of Work:

• Outside of peak the days of work, you would work a rotational shift of 06:00- 14:00 and 14:00- 22:00, Monday to Friday.
• During peak season (June to September) the hours of work will be: 4 days on (6am – 6pm), 2 days off, 4 nights on (6pm – 6am), 2 days off, on a rotational basis

Experience & requirements:

• Full Reach licence is desirable

• Full Counterbalance licence is essential
