Bailey Employment Services are looking for a Stores Team Leader for our client near Brough. This is initially a temporary position but with the intention of going permanent following a successful trial period.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a stores/warehouse environment in a team leader/supervisory level position. Have the ability to manual handle goods with a good attention to detail and have a counterbalance, fork lift truck licence (in house licences will be considered).
Responsibilities:
- To manage the Stores
- Ensure goods are checked (Quality and Qty) and received into stock via the ERP system
- Ability to manage stock at 97% accuracy (Actual to system qty) Measured via weekly perpetual stock counts
- Maintain a well organised stores area, with goods clearly marked with part numbers
- Ensure goods are correctly stored in appropriate storage media, in line with good practice and manufacturers recommendations/Instructions
- Ensure stock is located correctly in the appropriate location for the item
- Maintain timely delivery of kits to the production line, in line with the Production plan dates.
- Inbound delivery inspection and quality control
- Has overall responsibility for the stores area and stock held within it
- Support the stores team
- Share workload
- Support the teams performance
Pay and Benefits:
- Permanent position following a successful trial period
- Hours of work are 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday with an early finish of 12noon on a Friday
- 30 minutes unpaid break plus 2x10 minute paid breaks
