Job Purpose

To Provide:

Remote technical assistance to customers as part of a phone based technical support team using systems provided under the direction of the Help desk Manager and support from Technical Services Manager.

To perform technical duties relating to help desk support and systems installations as required.

To monitor and perform technical troubleshooting and diagnosis for customer sites mainly across the
UK on a range of RF infrastructure and mobile computing platform products.

To be technical lead in the event of a customer incident and represent the company on incident calls along with other service providers.

Key Accountabilities:

Help desk support and configuration of RF and network infrastructure from enterprise wireless market leaders including but not exclusively Zebra (Motorola/Symbol) and Cisco, Meraki.

Work in a customer facing fashion, presenting the professional image that the company wishes to portray to its customers.

Provide configuration and support services for RF infrastructure and mobile computing hardware.

To be able to troubleshoot and remotely diagnose and where appropriate resolve or recommend appropriate resolution of network and infrastructure issues in a timely and effective manner.

To be able to carry out troubleshooting and resolution at times in a pressured situation.

To be able to effectively communicate at all levels within the company and with customers and third party providers.

Provide technical support and advice to internal and external customers against the wide product range installed by the company.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Management Team from time to time.

Knowledge and Experience:
IT Post graduate, with 2 + years of experience in Networking. CCNA required.
