Salary up to £30k basic DOE, Monday to Friday, Parking onsite. Must have CEMAP 1,2 and 3 or CII.

You will be the voice of a leading Mortgage Brokerage firm providing specialist advice and guidance on residential and some commercial property transactions, whilst meeting all FCA/PRA regulatory requirements.

Whether it is a first time buyer or an experienced property investor borrowing funds or making a variation to their original mortgage contract, you will be ready with the information and advice they need whilst promoting other benefits and services the business can offer.

This is a telephone-based position, where you will be required to build rapport, trust, and relationships with your customers to enable you to provide advice and a product recommendation, where appropriate, based on the customers’ needs and circumstances with the ability to document information in a clear and accurate manner.

Relevant Skills and Knowledge

• The requisite technical knowledge and qualification required for the role (CeMap mortgage or recognised equivalent).

• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the firm’s advice procedures including record keeping requirements.

• Provision of mortgage advice to clients where appropriate in a compliant manner as detailed in the firm’s compliance manual and procedures. General Responsibilities

• Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act and the relevant FCA rules at all times.

• Comply with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all times.

• Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes. Specific Responsibilities

• Prospect / contact potential clients in accordance with the firm’s business plan / supervisor’s guidance. • Attend property auctions when required.

• Ensure sufficient detailed client information is obtained and analyse information gathered.

• Undertake sufficient product and market research.

• Ensure suitable recommendations are made.

• Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained.

• Communicating with other professionals, such as estate agents, solicitors and valuers.

• Attain and maintain level of competence as required by the firm.

• Maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm.

• keep up to date with financial products and legislation and ensure relevant CPD is maintained and recorded accurately.

• Achieve volume targets and KPI’s as required by the firm.

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience in order to be successful in the role:

• Full CeMAP (or equivalent) professional qualification is essential

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple sources of information

• Good general knowledge of the financial services industry.

• Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to deliver a tailored recommendation to new and existing customers

• Efficient and accurate in following sales processes and completing related administration

• Highly focused to succeed/ exceed expectations

• Two years’ experience of working in a regulated environment with a proven track record of identifying and fulfilling business opportunities

• Proven track record in achieving objectives and performance measures

• Experience of working in an environment where adherence to procedures is essential

• Experience of working in a busy customer driven environment.
